Best Pets in Adopt Me - Legendary Tier List (2026)

Not all legendary pets in Adopt Me are equal. Some are worth chasing and trading for aggressively. Others look impressive but are not actually that valuable in the trading market. Here is the full tier list for 2026 so you know exactly which pets are worth going for.

How This Tier List Works

Pets are ranked purely by their current trade value and demand in April 2026. A pet being "legendary" rarity does not automatically make it valuable since some legendaries are hatched constantly from current eggs and are easy to get. The pets that hold real value are the ones that are old, retired, or came from limited events that will never come back.

S Plus Tier - The Untouchables

These are the pets that sit at the very top of the market. If you own one of these you are sitting on some of the most valuable items in the game.

Mega Neon Bat Dragon - Currently the single most valuable pet in Adopt Me. The Bat Dragon was already hard to get back in 2019 and making a Mega Neon version requires 16 full grown copies. The combination of limited supply and overwhelming demand puts this at the top.

Mega Neon Shadow Dragon - Sits right alongside the Bat Dragon at the peak. The Shadow Dragon is the most iconic pet in the game and its Mega Neon version is reserved for the most serious traders and collectors.

Mega Neon Giraffe - The Giraffe is one of the oldest pets in the game and a Mega Neon version is extraordinarily rare to come across.

S Tier - The Top Legendaries

Shadow Dragon - Even without being Mega Neon, the Shadow Dragon is the most recognisable status symbol in Adopt Me. High demand and permanently limited supply.

Bat Dragon - A favourite for many players purely because of how it looks. Trades around or sometimes above the Shadow Dragon depending on the week.

Frost Dragon - The Christmas 2019 classic. One of the most consistently traded high tier pets and a realistic target for serious traders working their way up.

Giraffe - One of the oldest pets in existence. Extremely scarce and always in demand.

Blue Dog and Pink Cat - The original Adopt Me pets. Technically Uncommon but their value is legendary. Every serious collector wants at least one.

A Tier - Worth Trading For

These pets have strong demand and are realistic targets for most experienced traders. They are great for working your way toward S tier through smart trading.

Owl - Consistently one of the most demanded pets in the game. Round, cute, and never seems to drop in popularity.

Crow - Sleek design with one of the best looking Neon effects in the game. Strong demand and solid value.

Parrot - Striking colourful design from the retired Jungle Egg. Holds value well over time.

Frost Fury - A fan favourite design that has stayed in demand long after the event it came from.

Hedgehog - The best Ultra-Rare in the game by far. Trades at legendary level because the demand is that high.

Dalmatian - Another Ultra-Rare that constantly punches above its rarity. Excellent for adds in bigger trades.

B Tier - Decent Picks

These are not going to set the trading world on fire but they are solid pets with consistent enough demand that you can move them without too much trouble. Good for building stacks to trade up toward A tier.

What to Go For as a Beginner

If you are just starting out, do not try to go straight for a Shadow Dragon. It is not realistic and you will just end up making bad trades out of impatience. Instead work your way up gradually.

Start by collecting B tier pets, bundle them together to trade for A tier pets, then use those to work toward the lower S tier pets like the Frost Dragon. This staircase method is how most successful traders actually build their collections. It takes time but it works.
